Alief Church of the Nazarene was organized in 1974 and began holding services at Chambers Elementary School. In 1975, the church purchased land east of Cook Road, just south of Bellaire Blvd., and built a church. In 1993, just under 12 acres was purchased on the corner of Bellaire Blvd. and Sugarland-Howell Rd. and the building near Cook Rd. was sold. The church then held services in rented space on the corner of Alief-Clodine Rd. and Hwy. 6 while plans for our new building were being made. Now, PRAISE THE LORD, we are worshiping in our new facility located at 14240 Bellaire Blvd. and have changed our name to The Crossing Church of the Nazarene.
